Given that Mornar was defeated in the last six games (three each in the ABA League and the EuroCup), the players see the upcoming match against Fiat from Turin at home as an opportunity to end the series of defeats.

But the coach Mihailo Pavićević said that the most important thing is for his players to perform as well as possible. Whether that will be enough for a win is a different question.

• The important thing is for the new players to fit in as soon as possible, for us to get used to each other. These games, without an imperative to win by a certain score, are a good opportunity for that. It is just as hard to stop a team on a series of wins, as it is to stop a series of defeats. It would be nice if we could break our series against the Italians.

Losing against Mega at home, in front of their own fans, was the toughest defeat in the series for Mornar, but it was compensated for by a win in Zadar. Everything else was realistic, including losing against Budućnost, the current ABA League champion and an active participant in the most elite European competition, the Euroleague.

- Everything can be compensated for quickly, if not in November, then definitely in December. Last year too, December was our month. Fiat will try to compensate for losing in the first part of the competition (80:84), and we will try to score a second win in the EuroCup, so the spectators can expect an interesting game – said the center of Mornar, Uroš Luković.

Marko Mugoša is still injured, but the remaining players are ready. After the ABA League, Bobby Brown and Landing Sane will have their Mornar debut in the EuroCup, too.

The match between Mornar and Fiat in Round 7 Group D of the EuroCup will be played on Wednesday, the 14th of November, in „Topolica“ sports hall, at 7 PM.
