Mornar travelled from Belgrade, where it suffered its worst defeat this season against Red Star (104:71), to Malaga, to play in the Eurocup Round 8 Group D against Unicaja. 

Coach Mihailo Pavićević had many objections to how his team played against Red Star. He believes the team will improve the impression it made in Belgrade in the match against Unicaja.

- It’s another trip we are going on without putting too much pressure on ourselves, because we can hardly hope for anything. But hope dies last. I expect an interesting match, because Unicaja’s playing style is similar to ours, the one that we promote and love. Whichever team has better shooters will be the winner. Unicaja is the favorite and no one can argue with that, however, we still see some opportunity for rally. I think the audience will be given the chance to see good basketball, and our goal is to present ourselves in the best light possible in Malaga - says Pavićević.

The talented point guard Nikola Rebić says he can learn a lot from the experienced Bobby Brown.

- I still have a lot to learn. My mission is to put in maximum effort when I’m on the court, especially in the defense phase, because I am expected to, as one of the youngest players, bring energy to the play. We are all here to serve the team. Brown, but also Sane, who is mobile, tough, and understands the game, still haven’t fully adapted. It will all look better soon, as soon as, I believe, in the match against Unicaja - says Rebić.
